The table above shows every Pal with a Medicine Production Work Suitability, along with its level. The Higher the level of the Work Suitability, the faster they are at completing tasks of that Work Suitability.
By using the Pal Essence Condenser, it's possible to upgrade all of a Pal's Work Suitabilities by one level. This is important because it's the only way to get a Pal with a Lv. 5 Work Suitability! As long as the Pal already has a Lv. 4 Work Suitability, it'll be upgraded to Lv. 5 once it's been ranked up to 4-Stars
For Medicine Production, it's currently only possible to get it up to Lv. 4, but it's still useful to have a Lyleen with Planting Lv. 5 if you choose to invest and upgrade one to 4-Stars.

Bellanoir and Bellanoir Libero are the best late-game Pal for Medicine Production because they are the only Pals that have Medicine Production Lv. 4. It also has the common Transporting Work Suitability, which is always useful to have on any Pal working at a base.
However, if you're planning on using either solely for Medicine Production tasks, remember to pick it up and fix its assignment so that it doesn't run off to do other tasks.

These Pals are some of the best multitasking Medicine Production Pals since they have Medicine Production Lv. 3 alongside other multiple high-level Work Suitabilities.
In some cases, they can also be the best Pal in a different Work Suitability, like with Lyleen and Planting for example.

Lifmunk is the best early-game Medicine Production Pal since it is encountered at a very low level near the starting area. Its other Work Suitabilities are also amazing additions to any early game base.

When Pals aren't fed when they're hungry or starving, or if they have no sanity with no way to remedy it, they can develop sicknesses and injuries that harm their productivity.
The only way to fix this is by making Medicines at a Medicine Workbench. It's important to have a Pal that can do this for you because you won't have to hold down a button waiting for it to finish, and instead can help pick up the slack and assist with tasks that the indisposed Pal is supposed to be doing.
List of Sicknesses and Injuries
Medicine Workbenches also give you the option to create weird concoctions that will boost the work speed of your Pals at the cost of their Sanity. While this may seem appealing, it is not recommended because it will create a cycle of you wasting time by having to unnecessarily heal your injured Pals.

The Witch Cauldron is not a structure that requires Medicine Production but instead is a structure that passively boosts the work speed of any task that requires Medicine Production.
This will heavily reduce the time it takes to make Medicine, allowing you to cure Pals sooner than normal.
