Palworld offers a variety of ways to traverse its environments, from walking on foot, to riding on Pals as mounts! Read on to learn about the best ways to get around, and which mounts to choose!

How to Increase Movement Speed
Sprint Instead of Walking
You can sprint by pressing the Space Button, or the Left Stick on your controller. This is faster than regular walking, however it will use up your character's Stamina.
All Controls and How to Change
Increase Stamina
You can invest Skill Points in Stamina to have your character sprint for longer periods of time. Because movement is such an important part of the game, Stamina becomes a stat that players should consider prioritizing.
Ride a Mountable Pal
Finding rideable Pals can make traversing the world of Palworld much easier, conserving your Stamina, covering more areas, and saving you time.
Best Mounts and All Mount Pals
Speed Increasing Passive Skills
Some Passive Skills increase movement Speed. It is recommended to have Pals that have these Passive Skills to speed up your movement.

How to Ride Pals
Catch a Rideable Pal
You can catch rideable Pals very early on in the game, these include Pals like Rushoar and Melpaca, who you can catch with ease.
Craft Pal Gear
A Pal Gear is also required before you can ride your flying mount in Palworld. To do this, capture the Pal to unlock their Pal Gear under Technology. You will need to use Technology Points to unlock the gear and craft them in a Pal Gear Workbench afterward.
After unlocking the Pal Gear, summon the Pal from your party, and then you can mount it!

Riding Mount
Early Game: Reindrix
Reindrix is highly recommended for early game playthroughs, You can easily find it early on and is a very convenient Riding Mount early game.
Late Game: Necromus
Necromus can double jump when ridden as a mount, and is also the fastest Running Mount in the game!
Fastest Ground Mount Pals Tier List
Aerial Mount
Early Game: Nitewing
Nitewing lets you to travel safely through the air allowing you to progress through the map at a quicker pace.
Late Game: Jetragon
Jetragon is the best Pal to be used as a mount thanks to it blowing every other pal out of the water with its Riding Speed! As an added bonus, it event learns a good variety of moves that makes it a decent fighter!

Swimming Mount
Early Game: Surfent
Surfent is a great Swimming Mount with a great Partner Skill.
Late Game: Azurobe
Azurobe gives a Water infusion to attacks thanks to its Pal Skill. Azurobe is also the fastest Swimming Mount in the game.
