Home Sweet Home is Palworld's newest update, together with the Palworld x ULTRAKILL collab. The update includes new content on base building, items, and game features for players to enjoy. Check out all the new features, new pals, and new items introduced for the Home Sweet Home update!

Palworld x ULTRAKILL New Content and Features
New Weapons

The Palworld x ULTRAKILL collab added a new pair of iconic weapons from the hit first-person shooter, ULTRAKILL.

Two new armor sets were added for the Palworld x ULTRAKILL collab, the V1 Armor (ULTRAKILL Collab Set 1) and the V2 Armor (ULTRAKILL Collab Set 2). Both armors are based from the first-person shooter game, ULTRAKILL.
How to Unlock ULTRAKILL Collab Set
Unlock the V1 Armor and V2 Armor in the Technology menu. The V1 Armor costs three Ancient Technology Points, while the V2 Armor costs five Ancient Technology Points.
Both Collab Armor sets come with the Blood is Fuel effect, which automatically repairs the armor when you deal damage in combat.
Improved Combat Mechanics
Combat mechanics for swords, such as the katana and beam sword, have been improved. Pressing left mouse click (or right trigger) now performs a new combo attack.
Special attacks were also added to the katana and beam sword. Press and hold the left or right mouse click (left or right trigger) to activate the new abilities.
New PvP Mechanic
The update features a new PvP mechanic, where player are now able to set their servers to allow PvP. When PvP is active, the following changes are enabled:
- Players can harm each other
- Entering another player's base makes their base Pals hostile
- Increased damage to flying players and mounted Pals
- Reduced damage to summoned and base Pals
- Players can access chests owned by other guilds
- Reduced melee weapon damage against structures built by other players
- Base Pals defend over a larger area, and the allowable distance between neighboring bases is increased
- The distance at which player names and damage values appear is changed
- Players are notified when their base is under attack, and building or repairing inside the base becomes unavailable
- Some weapons have modified range and damage values
Note that the PVP mechanic is in the experimental phase, so balancing issues and bugs may still occur.
New Structure Painting Mechanic
As part of the Home Sweet Home update, players are able to customize the color of any base structure under the Foundations tab of the Build Menu. This includes walls, stairs, roofs, and other structures found in this tab.
How to Paint Structures in Palworld
To change the color of your structure, press B to open the Build Menu then press P to enter Paint Mode. Point your cursor to a viable structure and press left mouse click to paint.
Take note that not all structures can be painted, and players can only change the color of the building parts found in the Foundation tab.
New Pals in Home Sweet Home
New Raid Boss
The update introduces King of Salvation, Hartalis as the brand-new raid boss. Find Hartalis by collecting Hartalis Slabs then use a Summoning Altar to challenge him. Players can now choose to face Hartalis in their own base, or fight him in a new separate battlefield through Raid Battlefields.

Raid Battlefields
Raid Battlefields are a new feature found in the Summoning Altar. Players can now fight bosses in the comfort of their own base, or the safety of a separate battlefield.
New Items in Home Sweet Home
New Base Structures
Forty-eight new building parts are added with the new Home Sweet Home update. Build your dream home with the new triangular pieces, and the new Paint Mode feature. The update also introduces a brand-new look to the Build Menu UI.

The Hartalis Slab Fragment, Hartalis Slab, and Hartalis (Ultra) Slab are new items needed to summon the new raid boss, Hartalis.
