Clear Dungeons for Chests

Dungeons also have Treasure Chests that are locked behind the Boss Room. Defeat bosses inside Dungeons to unlock the closed path and claim your loot after the battle ends.

Once you've completed a dungeon, you will need around 20 dungeons to close off before it opens up again. To close off a dungeon, you will need to either complete it or wait for its 5-hour timer to expire. If you're only waiting for the timer to expire, it will take around 3 hours for the dungeon to respawn.

Best Chest Farming Routes

Dungeon Farming Routes

Opening dungeon chests is one of the best ways to farm for new and upgraded equipment. The chests found at the end after defeating the boss have a different drops from the standard overworld chests. This makes them ideal for farming items like Schematics, Accessories, Tech Manuals, and Skill Fruits.

Depending on the level of the dungeon, the rewards at the end will come in different tiers. At low levels, you will only be rewarded with basic items, while at the highest level, you'll be able to find drops that can't be found anywhere else, like the Future Tech Manual.

Do note that only the chests behind the dungeon boss will contain this loot and that the other chests found in the dungeon have the same drops as overworld chests.

Lv. 45 Late Game Dungeons

These are the highest level dungeons that are currently available, and the chests in these dungeons contain the best drops, like +2 Accessories and Rocket Launcher Schematics.

To find these dungeons, players will have to head north to the snowy mountain area and look for dungeon entrances marked by blue ice crystals and white trees.

Do note that there is one dungeon, specifically dungeon 13, that doesn't have the notable crystals and trees to mark the entrance. If ever you don't see the dungeon, then it is just currently closed and it will open up again once you've cleared a max of 20 other dungeons or wait for a maximum of 3 hours for it to respawn.

Lv. 38 Mid to Late Game Dungeons

The dungeons located in the desert area in the northern part of the map are ideal for farming items in the mid to late game. To find these dungeons, players will have to look out for a flowering cactus that is next to the rocky entrance of the dungeon.

Also, you may go to the Lv. 40 dungeons located in the volcano area to farm for mid to late-game items, but the dungeons in the desert are lower level, a lot easier to locate, and contain the same chest loot drops.

Lv. 29 and Below Dungeons

These dungeons aren't ideal for farming equipment since it is better to farm Wildlife Sanctuary Chests for mid-game drops instead. On those islands, you won't have to navigate a dungeon and defeat a boss. You can just simply use a Pal to fly to an island and open multiple chests without any confrontation.

However, if you're struggling at the low levels, then consider doing Lv. 13 Dungeons until you've advanced enough to get a mounted flying or swimming Pal that can take you to the No.1 Wildlife Sanctuary.

Sanctuary Chest Farming Routes

Wildlife Sanctuary Chests are special in that the loot drops are different from the standard chests, similar to the chests found after a dungeon boss. This makes them ideal for farming mid-game items because they can drop mid-game Schematics, Common Accessories, High Grade Tech Manuals, and Skill Fruits.

How to Unlock Chests

Red Glowing Chests Require Keys

Chest Keys
Copper Key	Silver Key	Gold Key

Some chests marked with a red glow will require a specific key and can only be determined what key is needed via a button prompt when near it. Every chest is observed to give at most four (4) items.

Chest Keys are acquired randomly through regular chests (has a yellow or purple glow, and their rarity from silver to gold depends on the area level.

Key Rarity Increases with Areas

Higher rarity keys like Gold Keys from regular chests will appear more often in Astral Mountain, an area populated by Level 40± Pals and humans, compared to those in Plateau of Beginnings. Alternatively, rare Gold Keys may also be farmed from defeating Black Marketeers.

All Chest Keys are obtained as drops from certain enemies. To get a Copper Key and Silver Key, capturing or defeating a Leezpunk are both viable.

To obtain a Gold Key, defeating or capturing a Black Marketeer is needed.

Regular Chests Do Not Need Keys

Regular Chests are the most common type and do not require keys to unlock. In fact, it is from these chests that you can get keys for opening locked chest types.

The drops for these chests are ordinary, however. If you are looking for Schematics to drop, it is best to find them in locked chests.

The type of Pal Sphere and Pal Souls from regular chests also depend on the area level. It is possible to get a Hyper Sphere from a regular chest in a place like the Desert, for example. The higher the area level, the more chances you can get a rare item out of one.

For the amount of Gold Coins earned from chests, they can vary depending on area level. In the Astral Mountain, you can earn as much as 900+ Gold Coins while you can also get as low as 100.

When Do Chests Respawn?

Respawns After Nine In-Game Days

It was observed that chests can respawn after nine in-game days. In case they have not, it is best to keep looking for chests in unexplored areas of the day.

Having a fast Flying Mount with you can help tremendously in scouting out chests, especially in rough terrain or high places where chests are likely to be positioned.
