Paint Mode is a new base building feature introduced in the Home Sweet Home update in Palworld. This allow players to change the color of certain base parts in the Build Menu. Learn how to paint base parts, how to access Paint Mode, and its features.

What is Paint Mode in Palworld?

Changes the Color of Base Parts in Foundation Tab

Base Parts Foundation Tab

Paint Mode is introduced in Palworld's version 0.7.0 patch as part of the Home Sweet Home update. Players are now allowed to customize the color of base parts found in the Foundation tab of the Build Mode.

Base Building Guide

Only Affects Base Parts in Foundation Tab

The new Paint Mode only affect base parts in the Foundation Tab, meaning players can only change the color of foundations, walls, doorways, stairs, and ladders of any variety. You cannot paint other base parts like furniture and storage.

Press P On the Keyboard

How to Paint
To access Paint Mode, first, enter your base and open the Build Mode by pressing B (or Up on the D-Pad). Then press P to enter Paint Mode (or X on a controller).

Pick a color then point your cursor to a build part to paint it. Paint Mode includes 15 colors for players to use in customizing their dream homes.
