Palworld - How to Trade Pals

Trade Pals by using the Pal Box or visit friends and drop Pals for them to pick up in Palworld. Read on to know everything about joining guilds, trading Pals, and where each Merchant is located.

Join a Guild to Trade Pals

Palworld - Join a Guild

When trading Pals with another player, both traders must be in the same guild. Every player already owns a guild by default, so decide which guild to join to trade.

Use the Pal Box at the Base to Trade

Palworld - Pals in Party for Trading

Access your Pal Box and put the Pals you wish to trade in your party.
Palworld - Pals at the Base

Exit to Title Screen and visit a friend's server, join their guild, then access their Pal Box at their base.
Palworld - Successful Trade

Put the Pal you wish to trade at the Pal Box, then get the Pal they also wish to trade to successfully exchange Pals.

Drop and Pick Up Pals

Palworld - Dropping Pals Prompt

Stand beside a Friend or the player you wish to trade with and drop the Pal by pressing R. A warning prompt will appear, so simply click Yes to proceed and wait for the other trader to pick the Pal up.

Palworld - Failed to Host Multiplayer Session

An issue called Failed to Host Multiplayer Session can still happen due to Palworld still being in Early Access. Devs recommend to turn off multiplayer for that particular world if the bug still persists.
