Join a Guild to Trade Pals

When trading Pals with another player, both traders must be in the same guild. Every player already owns a guild by default, so decide which guild to join to trade.

Use the Pal Box at the Base to Trade

Access your Pal Box and put the Pals you wish to trade in your party.

Exit to Title Screen and visit a friend's server, join their guild, then access their Pal Box at their base.

Put the Pal you wish to trade at the Pal Box, then get the Pal they also wish to trade to successfully exchange Pals.

Palworld Multiplayer Guide

Drop and Pick Up Pals

Stand beside a Friend or the player you wish to trade with and drop the Pal by pressing R. A warning prompt will appear, so simply click Yes to proceed and wait for the other trader to pick the Pal up.

Known Multiplayer Bug

An issue called Failed to Host Multiplayer Session can still happen due to Palworld still being in Early Access. Devs recommend to turn off multiplayer for that particular world if the bug still persists.

You Can Also Buy and Sell Pals from Merchants

Merchants are found in several locations on the map. Check out their stock if you run into them while exploring since both Items and Pal stocks changes every reset!

Black Market Merchant

The Black Marketeer can be found at these specific locations and sells Pals for a high price! If you have enough coins to spare, check out their stock if you're near their location.
