Into the Woods is unlocked after completing Realm of the Dead and using the portal to travel to the Realm of Damnation.

| 2 |  Kill the Gnarled Pawn and Its Defenders |
| 3 | Travel Through the Forest of Misery Examine the Angelic Corpse at the end of the highlighted path. |

| 5 | Find a Path Out of the Forest's Heart You will need to try to escape the general area three times to progress the Quest. |

During the fight against the Gnarled Pawn, depending on how much damage you can take, you can avoid fighting the "Defenders" – the Twisted Effigy trees surrounding the pawn.
Instead focus your attention on the Gnarled Pawn itself to take it out of the fight, as it will be the one executing a majority of the attacks that you'll receive.
