Kill the Gnarled Pawn and Its Defenders
3 Travel Through the Forest of Misery
Examine the Angelic Corpse at the end of the highlighted path.
4 Diablo Immortal - Kill Vrytix the Aggrieved
Kill Vrytix the Aggrieved
5 Find a Path Out of the Forest's Heart
You will need to try to escape the general area three times to progress the Quest.

Ignore the Defenders

Diablo Immortal - Ignore the Defenders
During the fight against the Gnarled Pawn, depending on how much damage you can take, you can avoid fighting the "Defenders" – the Twisted Effigy trees surrounding the pawn.

Instead focus your attention on the Gnarled Pawn itself to take it out of the fight, as it will be the one executing a majority of the attacks that you'll receive.
