![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Might and Resolve > Perception > Intellect and Dexterity > Constitution |
For Wand focused builds, Might and Resolve are the most important for both raw damage and the ability to spam Wand attacks. Perception is a close second to both, as the increased critical chance and maximum range are beneficial for using Wands.
For Intellect, you don't need as many points as a Wizard build. This is because the Wand build doesn't focus on using Active abilities or Spells as often. Make sure to put points into Dexterity as well, helping increase attack speed for more DPS, and faster switching between Wands and Grimoire.
Constitution is the lowest priority, for you are less likely to be hit when at range and focusing on dodging. Moreover, its bonuses are less impactful than the other stats.
This Wand build focuses more on using Wands to get damage in, and occasional spells for utility via Grimoires. The combination of Fighter, Ranger, and Wand-focused Wizard passives will make a Wand user that functions as an aggressive mid-range attacker, ready to get in and start blasting dual-wielded Wands.
For actives, place points in Grimoire Mastery for extra spell utility. Tanglefoot is great for crowd control, and Barbaric Shout's attack buffs and stun damage work incredibly well with Wands. Later on, activating Flurry of Blows will make your Wand attack rate even more powerful.

Your main goal is to purchase Minoletta's Conduit in from the Porrya & Vellino Merchant in Fior, Emerald Stair. This is the best Wand for attacking for its raw attack bonuses, and the added shock damage is a plus.
Mid-game in Shatterscarp, get the Whisper of Exiles, which has incredibly powerful Frost attacks. This can freeze enemies, allowing your Blast Power Attacks to shatter the frozen foes.

Frost spells have the best utility when used in conjunction with Wands, as the Blast power attack explosion shatters frozen enemies. The spells Blizzard, Blast of Frost, and Freezing Pillar, all found in a Grimoire of Rime, are fantastic for additional crowd control and huge bursts of damage.
You can purchase a Grimoire of Rime from the Porrya & Vellino Merchant in Fior, Emerald Stair as well. Also, make sure to equip an extra Wand in the main hand, though switch back to the dual Wands after using the spells you need.

Medium Armor is great for the pure Wand build, offering a good balance of stamina and stagger reduction. Since you'll be dodging frequently but still taking occasional hits, Medium Armor provides optimal protection.
Later on, you'll find strong Unique pieces with movement speed bonuses that enhance the "run and gun" with Wands playstyle.
