You must choose between sending the Animancers to Thirdborn or Paradis at the end of the Ancient Soil main quest in Avowed. Read on to see what happens from choosing either of these choices as well as all the endings you can get from your choice.

| Thirdborn | The Animancers relocate to Thirdborn to have a fresh start. Affects one of your ending epilogue screens. |
| Paradis | The Animancers relocate to Paradis which is close to the home of the Steel Garrote, the ones who destroyed their home in Ancient Soil. Affects one of your ending epilogue screens. |
At the end of the Ancient Soil main quest, you will talk with the governor, Quilicci and Yatzli about where the surviving animancers should relocate to. You will need to choose between Thirdborn and Paradis as the locations of the animancers' next home. This choice occurs whether or not you save Fior mes Iverno.
Choosing either will only affect a portion of the game's ending.
The choice to have the animancers move to Thirdborn or Paradis doesn't affect anything on a gameplay level, as it merely determines what ending screen you get for the animancers. Neither leads to a severely bad ending, so feel free to choose either.

There isn’t exactly a bad ending for choosing either Thirdborn or Paradis. However, sending the refugees to Thirdborn allows for more equality between the animancers and the locals.
