The War Hero is a battle-hardened frontline fighter. As the Spear of the Emperor, get Charge to dive headfirst into the melee and Constant Recovery to endure the fight, helping survivability especially early on. In battle, Shield Bash can provide extra crowd control.
Later on, as the Hero gets even more combat training and experience, take Barbaric Shout to get a buff while charging in, Armored Grace for stamina efficiency with heavy armors, and Finesse to enhance spear damage.
At higher levels, unlock Unbreakable to become a bulwark on the battlefield together with Retribution. Finally, take Inspiring Triumph to strengthen allies, rounding out your offense and defense capabilities in the process.

Heavy Armor is best for the War Hero, providing the best protection when absorbing enemy attacks. Paired with the Armored Grace passive, they can withstand any assault while maintaining stamina and hardly slowing down.
