There are three Giatta endings in Avowed that you can unlock depending on your actions and dialogue choices in the game. Learn about all of Giatta’s endings, as well as what you need to do in order to unlock them.

| 1 |  Giatta continues to improve as an animancer. She dedicates her work to the spiritual health of the Living Lands. nurturing instead of exploiting. Others follow her example, seeking her tutelage from lands far and wide. In the years to come, rumors spread of a secret society gathering in the wilderness, where animancers work in haromony with nature. The dream of Fior mes Iverno lives on in her. Unlock Condition: Talk to Giatta during Pulling Back the Veil, then at a party camp, tell her You owe it to yourself to continue your research and grow as an animancer. |
| 2 |  Giatta turns away from animancy, charting a new course in life. The old rules don't apply to her. She has no responsibilities other than herself. Writing music, sailing, sewing, love. She tries everything, masters nothing, and finds the inner peace that eluded her as an animancer. She still carries the phantasmal focus, but it doesn't feel as heavy as before. Unlock Condition: Talk to Giatta during Pulling Back the Veil, then at a party camp, tell her Leave the past behind. You don't need animancy to find meaning in life. |
| 3 |  Giatta learned much in your time together - how to stand up to authority, how to face the unknown, and how to move on from the past. But her family's unfinished work weighs heavily on her soul. Her inheritance is the burden of achieving the impossible. Such is the life of an animancer. At least now she has the right tools for the job, and new friends to help her through hard times. Unlock Condition: This ending is obtained if you don't do either of the above actions to trigger Giatta's other endings. |
One of the requirements to unlock some of Giatta's endings is to do her companion moment in the hidden room of the Garden during the Pulling Back the Veil optional main quest. This quest happens concurrently with The Heart of the Living Lands main quest.
If you don't do Giatta's companion moment, you will get her default ending instead where her family’s unfinished work weighs heavily on her soul.
Pulling Back the Veil Walkthrough
After completing Giatta’s section of Pulling Back the Veil, you can talk to her at any party camp. She will ask for your advice on what she should do with her life.
You can choose to either encourage her to pursue animancy or tell her to quit animancy, which will lead to different endings. Not talking to Giatta will lead to the default ending.
