List of All Starmetal Weapons

Starmetal Weapons

Starmetal Weapons can be obtained by showing a starmetal to Forgemaster Dela as part of the Forged of Star-Stuff side quest. Asking for a sword grants the one-handed sword Meteor Blade, whereas asking for an arquebus creates the Moonstrike weapon.

These weapons require one Fragment of Starmetal to create. Players can still obtain the other starmetal weapon if they present another starmetal to the smithy.

Refined Starmetal Weapons

The starmetal weapons Meteor Blade and Moonstrike can be further refined at the cost of one Fragment of Starmetal. The refined version has upgraded stats but will retain its item bonus and enchantments.

Solace Keep in Galawain's Tusks

The Starmetal Smithy is Forgemaster Dela, who can be found inside Solace Keep located in Galawain's Tusks. Enter his forge behind the statue and show him the starmetal to create your first starmetal weapon.

There is a total of four Starmetals—one for each region—that can be found in the Living Lands. These starmetals are often found in hard to reach places or are guarded by a horde of enemies.

The four starmetals are enough to create and refine all the starmetal weapons in Avowed.

Should You Make the Starmetal Sword or Arquebus?

Make the Starmetal Sword

While both weapons can be created eventually, the starmetal sword Meteor Blade is the better option to create first. Its bonus is especially useful for survival when playing a melee build on higher difficulties, and is one of the strongest options for dual wield builds.

While Moonstrike isn't a terrible weapon per se, its bonus Frost accumulation isn't as useful due to the delay between shots. Players are better off using ice spells such as Chill Blades or the Whisper of Exiles unique wand when in need of Frost accumulation.
