| Reject the Offer | Get the Godlike's Will ability for rejecting the offer. Effect: Gain a bonus Ability Point to spend in the Fighter, Ranger, or Wizard Ability Trees. |
You will come across Sapadal during the Ancient Soil main quest. Sapadal will offer you an ability that you can take or reject.
At the End of Shadows of the Past Quest

| Reject the Offer | Get the Godlike's Will ability for rejecting the offer. Effect: Gain a bonus Ability Point to spend in the Fighter, Ranger, or Wizard Ability Trees. |
You will get a few options when you meet Sapadal at the End of the Shadows of the Past main quest. You can accept the offer of power, but you will have to make another choice, which is to destroy the ruins or sever the Adra Network after leaving the ruins.
You can refuse the offer and get the Godlike's Will ability instead, but you will still decide what to do with the ruins and the Adra.

Should You Accept Sapadal's Offer?
Always Accept the Offer
Generally, it’s a good idea to accept all of Sapadal’s offers, since they allow you to get strong Godlike abilities.
Sapadal's offer during the Ancient Soil quest is great against hordes of enemies. Enemies increasing in numbers is very common as you progress further into the story and other regions, making this ability handy.
The ability you can get in Our Dreams Divide Us Still is a more powerful version of the Dream Touch ability, which is excellent for healing.
Accept the Offer in Shadows of the Past
Accepting Sapadal's offer of power at the end of the Shadows of the Past quest gives you two options for your ability. You can get the Scion of the Immortal Land by destroying the ruins or the Severed Branch by severing the Adra Network.
You can choose the ability you want depending on your playstyle, as they have different effects. Scion of the Immortal Land is suitable for frontliners because of its damage boost and health regen, while the Severed Branch is better for backliners because of its speed boost.
Your Choice Will Affect the Ending
Your choice here will affect the ending you will get at the end of the main story. You can also use that as your basis of selecting if the ability doesn't matter for you.
