Face Your Fears is a main quest in Avowed. Read on for a complete walkthrough of Face Your Fears, the choices you can make, where the statue part locations are, as well as the rewards for completing the quest.

Talk to Yatzli

Talk to Yatzli outside of The Dead Swordfish in Thirdborn. She will join your party as one of your companions after your conversation has ended.

Bring Yatzli to Ryngrim's Domain

In order to continue this quest, you should have Yatzli as one of the two companions that you can bring. Follow the objective marker to locate the Ryngrim's Domain, which is northeast of Shark's Teeth, near the Pargrunen ruins in the Shatterscarp.

Outside of the domain, you will encounter Arisen Skeleton Chanter and Arisen Skeleton Priest so deal with them first then enter the domain.

Investigate Ryngrim's Domain

#	Exploring Ryngrim's Domain
1	Once inside the domain, just go follow the objective marker until you encounter a dead Xaurip near a tent with a Strangely-Marked Xaurip Spear. Get the spear and then keep moving forward towards the circle portal.
2	On the other side, you will see a purple sillhouette figure on the way. Keep following it until you eventually see two paths. The left containing a wall with some purple marks on it and to the right a path to get closer to your objective. The left contains a treasure chest that you can open and loot its items. Once you obtain the loot, go to the right path to continue forward.
3	You'll eventually end up in an open area filled with enemies particularly the Skeleton enemies and Greater Ash Blight. Deal with the Greater Ash Blight first as it attacks with projectiles and can be a detriment to you during the battle. After defeating the enemies, go towards the altar with white light located at your current area to reveal your next objectives.

Restore the Broken Statue

Statue Hand Path

#	Statue Hand Path
1	From the altar, climb the stairs on its right to see branches blocking the way. Burn them and you should encounter Arisen Skeletons that you must defeat.
2	Continue forward until you end up in an open room with a huge purple marked wall. This is also where a Queen Crystal Spider will spawn alongside other spider enemies. Defeat them and then open the purple marked wall where you can see a huge red circle.
3	Go inside the room with the red circle and follow the path. Jump to the other side and you will see the Statue Hand on the table. Go back down to where the altar is.

Statue Head Path

#	Statue Head Path
1	Go the rightmost stairs at the front of the altar. This is gonna be another path blocked by a branch. Burn it and move forward to make more enemies spawn. This time you will face Scourge Skeleton Wizard and Arisen Skeleton Ranger.
2	Once you've killed the enemies, go to the left to see another purple wall that you can access with Yatzli's ability.
3	You will have to swim on this next section where you'll eventually see two ways. The blue hole (right hole) will lead you to a treasure chest that contains Corrupted Adra, White Steel Chunk, two Stelgaer Leather and 336 Gold. After getting the treasure, go swim again and go to the red hole to proceed forward.
4	Swim downwards to get to a room that will spawn a Spectre and an Arisen Skeleton Monk. You can also get the Exceptional Arquebus weapon in the room placed on top of a table.
5	Go forward to fight more enemies. Once all enemies are defeated, the big door will open towards your next statue part. Go straight then left to see the purple sillhouette again. A dialogue will play out with a Villager telling you of his fate. After that, you will see the Statue Head on top of the table.

Heart of the Statue Path

#	Heart of the Statue Path
1	From the altar, go straight to the stairs to the right(not the rightmost one) until you see branches on the wall. Burn it and drop through the hole.
2	Swim forward to go to the next area. Just keep following the objective marker while killing the enemies appearing.
3	Keep following the objective marker until you see the purple sillhouette near the table that has the Arda Heart which you will need for the statue.

Find Ryngrim and Defeat Her Skeletons

Bring back the statue parts towards the altar so you can access the next area. Use the statue to teleport towards your next destination where you will have to fight Ryngrim's Skeletons.

Do note that this will be a long and difficult battle so be careful when fighting these enemies.

Speak with Ryngrim

After defeating the skeletons, at long last Ryngrim will appear to speak with your party. Talk to her and then interact with the statue behind her after talking to her to go back where you came from.

A conversation will take place after all the events which will lead to the completion of this quest.

Completing Face Your Fears will give you 663 experience points after completing the quest.
