Classes

Classes are combat archetypes that specialize on certain playstyles in Avowed. Learn more about the list of all classes, what they specialize in, and the class abilities they provide.

List of All Classes

Class Description
Fighter The Fighter class focuses more on raw strength, mastering heavy melee combat by using weapons such as axes, maces and two-handed melee weapons.

This class specializes in crowd control and stamina management to overwhelm enemies with your melee attacks.
Ranger The Ranger class excels in being agile by allowing you to effectively use ranged weapons and light melee weapons with its abilities focusing more on improving movement speed, precision and stealth.
Wizard A Wizard focuses on one type of attack that they have mastered: spellcasting. This class can master magical equipment such as wands or grimoires. It will also improve your essence usage and elemental effects.

Wizard

Classes in Avowed aren't your traditional classes in other RPGs. You don't need to focus on the abilities of one class. You are free to invest into abilities from all classes.

Feel free to invest points on which class abilities suits your playstyle the most.

Classes are Determined by the Ability Tree

Ranger

Each class will have set of abilities that focuses on giving that class an identity or archetype. For example, the Fighter class have abilities that improve heavy melee combat and stamina management, while the Wizard class has abilities that are focused improving spellcasting and getting more spells.
