Sell Unused Uniques

Avowed Sell Uniques

The best method by far in gaining money is by selling Uniques that you do not intend to use. This can be accomplished by first identifying and deciding on the weapons you intend to use, and selling any uniques that do not fit into those categories.

List of Unique Weapons

Loot Uniques Late Into the Game to Increase Their Value

Additionally, you can refrain from picking up Uniques while you wait to gain Exceptional or Superb quality items. Then, when picking up the Uniques, their rarity and market value will scale up to that same quality.

This lets you sell these same weapons for more, but requires you to leave most of the weapons unlooted for the time being.

Do Side Quests and Bounties

Dawnshore Bounty Board

Another passive way to gain money in Avowed is by taking advantage of the many Side Quests and Bounties that are available for the player.

Not only are they good side-sources of extra income, but can also go a long way to the player's progression by giving them bonus XP, weapons, and equipment.

Bounties Become Less Lucrative In Late Game

Bounties should be done as early as possible as they scale to become more difficult later on in the game, whereas the rewards do not scale as much.

Equip The Enchanted Suolenet Amulet

Equipping this Unique Amulet gives you +20% more currency when looting coins. With the abundance of loot from chests and fallen enemies, your coins will add up quickly so long as you have this equipped while you loot.

Sell Gems and Surplus Weapons

Sell Gems

Over the course of the game, you will amass a sizable hoard of extra weapons, armor, and a good amount of gems.

The gems are only meant to be sold and should be done as soon as possible, and if you have no Break Down usage for the extra weapons, they can be worth selling as you will likely gain access to more powerful Unique items anyway.

What to Buy and Sell First

All Currencies Explained

Gold and Silver Are Converted to Copper Coins

The total money you buy and sell with in your inventory is measured in Copper Skeyt coins, the game's base currency. While you'll find Silver Fennings and Golden Scellings, these are automatically converted to Copper Skeyt when you pick them up.

Each Silver Fenning is worth 6 Copper Skeyt, and each Golden Scelling is worth 12 Copper Skeyt.
