Dawntreader Side Quest Walkthrough

Deliver the Relic to the Embassy

If you take the relic directly to Ofrye at the Aedyran Embassy, you'll earn more XP but will miss out on getting Sargamis' Last Light of Day and the opportunity to speak with The Voice.

Should You Give the Relic to Sargamis?

Give the Relic to Sargamis but Persuade Him to Stop the Experiment

There will be an option to persuade Sargamis to stop his experiment based on your background or attributes. Doing this will cause him to question his life and stop the experiment.

You can then ride the lift up near the statue to go to his study room where you can speak to him so that he can give you the Last Light of Day weapon.

This is the best outcome as no one (besides the expedition team during the Dawntreader quest) dies and you also get more exp points this way.
