Giving the Meteorite to Josep grants more rewards in Avowed. Find out if it's best to give the Meteorite to Josep for the rewards or give the Meteorite to the Giftbearer.

After getting the Mysterious Meteorite in the waters of Lake Lacuna, you must face the swarm of Revenants. You can choose to either go back to Josep in the Coastal Farms or to return to the Giftbearer at the Fior mes Iverno Docks.

How to Get Both Rewards
Talk to the Giftbearer and Josep
You can get both the Chanter's Panpipes and the Statuette of Lament by doing the steps below.
Do note that the following method might be bugged and possibly get patched in the future.

| 1 |  After getting the Mysterious Meteorite, go to the Giftbearer first and talk to him. You mustn't give him the meteorite but instead agree on something different. After this, choose to offer your memories then choose that you need to think this over. |

| 2 | Go to Josep and give him the Mysterious Meteorite to get the Chanter's Panpipes. | |
| 3 | Go back to the Giftbearer and talk to him. You will still have the option to give him the meteorite as if you still have it in your inventory. Choose this to get 550 Gold. | |
| 4 | Fast travel to the nearest beacon then go back to the shore to see an enemy Revenant and the Statuette of Lament placed on the shore where the Giftbearer was. | |

Give the Meteorite to Josep
If you decide to go back to Josep at the Coastal Farms, talk to him and reveal to him what happened in the lake. Give him the rock then explain to him that the Mysterious Meteorite attracts Revenants.
This is the recommended choice as you get better rewards in exchange for the meteorite. Josep will be rewarding you with the Chanter's Panpipes and 550 gold.
Only Gold for Giving It to the Giftbearer
Giving the Meteorite to the Giftbearer may prevent possible danger as he will be traveling far away with the rock that attracts the Revenants, but there won’t be anything special for you.
Talk to the Giftbearer at the Fior mes Iverno Docks if you want to give him the Mysterious Meteorite, and you’ll receive only 550 gold in exchange for the rock.
