Free Ilora	Ilora becomes your temporary companion for the remainder of the main quest and later helps you in the Escape Plan side quest.
Leave Ilora	Ilora eventually frees herself and fights you during the Steadman Ralke boss fight.

During the first main quest, On Strange Shores, you will come across Ilora, a smuggler with a boat that can help you escape the island. You can choose to help her out and free her from her prison cell or leave her behind.

Should You Free Ilora?

Trust Ilora and Free Her

Although quite rude when you first talk to her, Ilora is actually helpful if you decide to trust her.

Finding the key to her cell and freeing her will allow her to temporarily join your party. This is especially useful, as you'll face multiple enemies on your way out, including a boss fight at the end.

Ilora Appears Later in a Side Quest

If you help Ilora, she will later reappear in the Escape Plan side quest. Having Ilora vouch for you with the smugglers makes this side quest much easier and allows Leoflaed and Glaedwine to reach Thirdborn without having to pay or engage in a fight.

Leaving Ilora Behind Makes Things More Difficult

If you choose to leave Ilora behind, combat will be more challenging since you’ll be missing an extra hand. She will also appear as an enemy during the Steadman Ralke boss fight.

Additionally, Ilora will not be available in Escape Plan, locking you out of the best way to complete the quest.
