Avowed - Best Paladin Build
This is a guide to the best Paladin build in Avowed. Read on to learn the best stats, skills and abilities, weapons, and armor to get in order to create a powerful Paladin build.

Best Paladin Build

Stat Priority for a Paladin Build

Might = Resolve > Intellect > Dexterity > Constitution > Perception

Might and Resolve > Intellect > Dexterity > Constitution > Perception

For the Paladin, we need points in Might and Resolve for maximum damage output and Stamina, the bedrock of attacking and blocking. With both brains and brawn, put points into Intellect for increased Essence, as this build uses both Fighter abilities and defensive Magic in combat.

Then, Dexterity is important to increase as it boosts attack speed, helpful for dishing out more blows, and increases ability usage speed as well. Constitution is a lower priority due to the efficiency of the Toughness ability, so points can be allocated elsewhere first.

Perception is the least important, as this build doesn’t focus on ranged attacks or critical hits, but it’s still worth investing in for its crit bonuses once other key stats are sufficiently high and are hitting caps.

Best Abilities and Spells for Paladins

Prioritize key combat passives and invest three points in Grimoire Mastery to unlock Ring of Fire with a Grimoire of Embers early on. Defensive auras such as Arcane Veil from other Grimoires are also useful for charging in.

At Level 15, get Into the Fray to pull enemies in, synergizing well with Ring of Fire. Follow up with Unbreakable for better blocking, Stunning Blows for stronger stuns, and further on, keep upgrading the core Fighter passives.
