This is a list of the best stats to prioritize in Avowed. Read on to learn which stats to level up when playing as a melee fighter, ranged warrior, or pure spellcaster.

Since you'll always be within melee distance of your opponent, make to prioritize Might for %Damage. Otherwise, the added risk you're putting yourself in won't be worth it. |

Constitution and Resolve are easily your next-in-line for priority since they grant you more HP and more Stamina - perfect for blocking and tanking. |
 Dexterity★★★☆☆ |
2-Handed weapons are slow and clunky to use and switch to. To make your build easier to pilot, pump points into Dexterity for more attack speed and faster weapon switching. |
 Intellect★★☆☆☆ |
While not a big priority, it will be worth it to get a few points in Intellect just so you have access to high-essence cost abilities and elemental damage resistance. |
 Perception★☆☆☆☆ |
Perception is always good to have since it grants you a higher Crit Hit Chance. However, it's lower on the list since a lot of gear in-game grants bonus Perception, Crit Hit Chance, and Crit Damage. |

Since you'll be maining a ranged weapon, you'll want to get more survivability since the ADS animations of Bows and Guns can leave you vulnerable if you don't react on time. |
| Resolve ★★☆☆☆ |
Stamina management is easier when using a ranged build since you won't really be able to spam attacks all that much. This leaves you with a lot of Stamina for dodges. |

There are barely any active skills when investing in the Ranger ability tree. Intellect won't be your priority since Max Essence isn't an issue. |

Dexterity is higher on this list because the weapon switching speed increase is a game changer at higher levels, allowing you to swap between Grimoires quickly, effectively giving you access to 8 spells at the drop of a hat. |
| Perception ★★☆☆☆ |
While Crit Hit Chance is important overall, Perception is lower on the list since a lot of unique items will grant bonus Perception on equip. You won't have to prioritize putting points into this because items will do the job for you. |
| Constitution ★☆☆☆☆ |
Sacrifices have to be made when it comes to a spellcaster build. You'll have to rely on your allies to root enemies and draw aggro, while you cast your spells. |
