![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Dexterity and Might > Perception > Resolve > Intellect > Constitution |
For Gunslinger Builds, Dexterity and Might are the most important for faster reloads, increased weapon swap speed, and raw damage. Perception is a close second to both, as the increased critical chance and maximum range are important when using firearms.
Make sure to put points into Resolve as well, as you will need the Stamina to shoot, and dodge if needed. As for Intellect, you do not need as many points in this as the build does not focus on using Active abilities too often.
Constitution is the lowest priority, as you are less likely to be hit when at range, and its bonuses are less impactful than the other stats.
The Gunslinger Build has a straightforward progression, focusing on Steady Aim for lining up critical shots, Marksmanship for gun damage, and Evasive for getting out of harm's way. Shadowing Beyond also helps drop aggro and repositioning.
Quick Switch is crucial later on, especially its second rank that makes loadout switching faster and grants you automatic reloads. Continue with Critical Strikes for more crit procs, even without headshots, and finally Staggering Shots to beef up your power attack shots.

Note: Make sure to grab a point in Scavenger early on for easier upgrades down the line, especially since you have multiple guns. In the Final Quest, respec and swap out Scavenger for another point in Tanglefoot to help with the elite enemies and bosses.

For the Gunslinger Build, dual-wielded Pistols and an Arquebus are your go-to for loadouts. Fair Play and Magic Mistol are the best in slot Pistols, especially when Enchanted. They give excellent snowball potential with their kill buffs, allowing you to mop up a crowd of enemies without slowing down.
For the Arquebus, One Last Trick is the best in slot option. It has a powerful ricochet effect that can damage multiple enemies and is great to open fire on targets from range.
Start with a non-unique Pistol, then acquire Caeroc's Pride in Dawnshore. Upgrade them to Exceptional while exploring Emerald Stair, and eventually upgrade Caeroc's Pride into Superb.
In Shatterscarp, purchase Fair Play. Then, find the Magic Mistol later in Galawain's Tusk, giving you the two best pistols to go Gunslinging with.

For the best early rings, find and equip the Ring of the Peerless Marksman and the Ring of Pain Amplification. Both can be obtained early in Emerald Stair. In the Late Game, Ashfall's Legacy is the absolute best Ring for using Guns, for its bonus attack and critical damage with Pistols and Arquebuses.
