Best Abilities

Ability Effect
Fire and Ire Icon Fire and Ire • Fires a single shot, dealing high Stun to a single target and taunts them for 10s.
Upgrades:
• Extra Powder: Ignites targets.
• Pure Lead: Greatly increases Stun.
• Quick Reload: Reduces cooldown by 50%.
Second Wind Icon Second Wind • Revives with 50% HP. Can occur once every 120s.
Upgrades:
• Soothing Wind: Increases HP restored to 75%.
• Rallying Wind: Grants temporary Attack Speed boost.
• Refreshing Wind: Resets all ability cooldowns.

Fire and Ire makes great use of Kai's blunderbuss. When upgraded, this ability will enable him to use incendiary ammo and deal greater Stun to enemies. It also lets Kai insta-teleport next to the targeted enemy with this Taunt ability making it useful when you are bing hounded by the enemy.

Kai's Second Wind ability is also another useful ability as it lets him revive with 50% HP before it goes on cooldown. A very useful ability when tackling higher difficulties as you don't have to worry about him going down immediately.

Kai is the very first companion that will join you on your journey. Specifically, he can be recruited at the beginning of the second mission, Message from Afar. You will encounter him on your way to fulfill your assignment from the Emperor.
