The treasure for the The Blade that Hungers map is located inside a chest located north of Ash Forest and west of the The Living Archives.

| 1 |  Head north of Ash Forest and once you see the rock arch path beyond these two trees, follow the path up ahead. |
| 2 |  Just before you turn right, enter the narrow passage behind a tree and keep proceeding forward. |
| 3 |  Loot the chest to obtain the Umbral Needle. |
The clue shows a red X beneath a rock formation beyond a stone arch, with The Living Archives in the background. The dead trees near the rock arch can help you locate the treasure north of Ash Forest.
Following the The Blade that Hungers treasure map will lead you to a chest that contains Umbral Needle, a Superb Quality Dagger with the Fampyr's Bite (Restore 2% of the damage you deal as Health) and Greater Opening Strike (+15% Damage against enemies with full Health) bonuses.
