As an Arcane Scholar, your crowning glory is your mind, granting you access to powerful magic such as Minor Missiles, Armored Essence, and Fan of Flames. Magic, armor, and ice for taking down any who stand in your way.
Being recruited into the Imperial Archives grants you Grimoire Mastery, enabling you to cast spells you have yet to learn. Your expertise also leads to Wand Mastery, making your Wands more powerful, together with more powerful Blizzard and Fireball elemental spells.
Being more accustomed to light robes than heavy, clunking suits of armor, take Armored Essence so light and medium armor becomes less taxing on your body.

Spending time in the Emperor's Imperial Archives makes Grimoires practically an everyday item for you. Collect Grimoires to use the spells attached to them and increase the level of a spell you've already spent points on. Always keep one in your off-hand.
Wands will be your primary weapon as a spellcaster. Equip one in your main hand and pair it with a Grimoire. These weapons, paired with Wand and Grimoire Mastery, shall make you the most formidable of spellcasters.
Best Armor for Arcane Scholar
It is recommended that Arcane Scholars equip light and breezy raiments such as robes and tunics for improved concentration on spells.
At most, Arcane Scholars can equip Medium Armor made out of leather or light metals for increased protection without sacrificing much in the way of spellcasting and mobility. These types of armor will go great with Armored Essence.
