Should You Destroy the Mines?
Stop Darle from destroying the mines during the Fires in the Mine side quest in Avowed. Read on to see what happens if you let Darle destroy the mines and the rewards you can earn!

| Stop Darle | You will battle Darle in a boss fight and prevent the destruction of the Sulfur Mines. The mining officials will reward you with 900 Coins afterward. |
| Destroy the Mines | Darle blows up the Sulfur Mines and makes the area inaccessible for re-entry. You will receive nothing from the mining officials. |
At the end of the Fires in the Mine side quest, Darle will reveal his plan to destroy the Sulfur Mines. You must then decide whether to stop him or allow the mines to be destroyed.
Should You Destroy the Mines?
Stop Darle From Destroying the Mines
Stopping Darle from destroying the mines is the better option, as you will receive 900 Coins from the mining officials. You can also collect 432 Coins from Darle's corpse upon defeating him. Narratively, preventing the destruction of the mines will also improve the relationship between the Thirdborns and the Aedyrs.
If you let Darle blow up the mines, however, you will receive nothing from the mining officials, and the relationship between the Thirdborns and Aedyrs will be more strained.
