How to Get Into Solace Keep

You'll need to have Marius in your party to enter Solace Keep in Avowed. Read on to learn how to convince Warden Kosmin to let you into Solace Keep when you first arrive in Galawain's Tusks.

How to Get Into Solace Keep

Bring Marius Along then Speak to Warden Kosmin

In order to lower the drawbridge leading into Solace Keep, you'll need a Warden to vouch for you when speaking to Warden Kosmin. Bring along Marius when leaving any of your Party Camps in Galawain's Tusks, since he's still a Warden of Solace Keep.

As long as you have Marius in your party, you will eventually be granted entry into Solace Keep. Exhaust all the dialogue options once Marius and Warden Kosmin meet. You'll know you did it correctly if Kosmin gives the order to lower the drawbridge.

Marius is Only Required for the First Visit to Solace Keep

Once the drawbridge is lowered, you are free to remove Marius from your party. His presence will no longer be needed if ever you want to re-enter the city. If you were running a different companion combo previously, it should be safe to switch back after finding and convincing Warden Kosmin.

Can You Fast Travel to Solace Keep?

Solace Keep has No Fast Travel Beacon

Unfortunately, once you do get access to Solace Keep, it will not have a fast travel beacon that you can use to slip in and out. You will need to keep running back up to Solace Keep's entrance via nearby camps or fast travel beacons whenever you need to turn in a side quest, purchase items, or advance the main quest.

During your first visit, make sure to accept all side quests in the keep unless you want to make multiple trips as you complete the side quests in Galawain's Tusks.
