Speak With the Leaders of the Living Lands
After finishing The Heart of the Living Lands Walkthrough, you will immediately see the state of Paradis being attacked by the Steel Garrote and Lodwyn. Go follow the objective marker until you meet the leaders of the Living Lands.
Whatever dialogue option you choose at this point will affect your relationship with your companions, the endings that you get, and how the rest of the quest will progress.

Companions Leave if You Choose to Help Lodwyn
If you choose the dialogue about helping Lodwyn, your companions will express their disappointment and disgust with you since you sided with her and the Steel Garrote. Not only that but all the leaders will express their anger to you.
This will cause all your companions to leave your party and the Paradis militia to antagonize you for the rest of the quest.
Any Other Choice Will Mean Opposing the Steel Garrote and Lodwyn

Excluding helping Lodwyn, any other option that you choose will result to opposing the Steel Garrote and Lodwyn for the rest of the quest. Your companions and the leaders also support your cause to free the city and end Lodwyn's terror.
Reach the City
No matter what you choose, you will need to get into the city. Just follow the objective marker and then you will have to face either the Paradis Militia (help Lodwyn) or the Steel Garrotes (other choice besides helping Lodwyn).
After defeating them, use the wheel at the right side of the gate to open it and get into the city. The enemies that you encounter inside the city will be dependent on the choice you made with the leaders.
Take the Main Plaza and Eastern Gate
If you choose any other option besides helping Lodwyn, you will need to take back the main plaza and eastern gate of the city by defeating all the Steel Garrotes occupying these areas.
Your companions will make a comment once you've freed an area from the enemies.
Confront Lodwyn
No matter what you choose between helping Lodwyn's goals or opposing her, you will need to confront Lodwyn. Go to her location and talk to her.
Your choices during your conversation with her, alongside your other choices throughout the game will affect what endings you get.
Lodwyn Will Battle You if You Chose the Other Options During Conversation with Leaders
If you've chosen any of the three options aside from siding with Lodwyn during your conversation with the leaders, you will have to battle Lodwyn at the end of the quest. She gets revived twice during the battle so be careful when dealing with her.
Siding with Lodwyn but not Renouncing Sapadal will Trigger Boss Fight
Choosing to side with Lodwyn but refusing to renounce Sapadal during the conversation will still lead to a boss fight against her. You will get an ending where you side with the Steel Garrote but don't renounce Sapadal.
Side with Lodwyn and Renounce Sapadal to Unlock Bad Ending
If you've chosen to side with Lodwyn by renouncing Sapadal and kneeling to her, she will execute you as a sign of your loyalty to the Steel Garrotes. This will lead to the bad ending of the game.
The Siege of Paradis Rewards
No New Game Plus
Despite finishing the game, Avowed doesn't feature a new game plus and reloading will only take you back to your most recent save just before your confrontation with Lodwyn.
