The Animancy Method Walkthrough
Enter Emerald Stair
Before starting the quest, make sure you're prepared with Fine Quality equipment, as you'll be traveling to a new region. Once you're ready, head to the Emerald Stair Gatehouse, located far east of Paradis.
As you approach the gate, you will be stopped by Edda. After speaking with her, cross the bridge to enter the Emerald Stair!
Travel to Fior mes Iverno

| 1 |  When you're ready, leave Party Camp and follow the path ahead. Keep an eye out for Sporelings and Brown Bears along the way. |
| 2 |  Head northwest until you reach at the Coastal Farms, where you'll find an Adra Waystone that you can interact with to set up camp. |
| 3 |  Continue your direction and you'll arrive at the Fior Southern Gate. Enter the gate to access Fior mes Iverno. |
Speak with the Governor
Upon entering the city, Captain Aelfyr will greet you. From there, head northwest to the City Hall, where you'll find Governor Ignasi Vidarro surrouned by a crowd. Speak with him to continue.
Speak with Giatta
Make your way southwest and talk to Giatta. She will then give you three objectives that can be completed in any order. However, since you will be traveling a lot, we recommend starting Consult with Elia for a smoother experience.
Consult with Elia

| 1 |  Travel to Elia's Revenant Farm in the Coastal Farms. Speak with Elia, who will ask you to put down Silvo the Revenant. |
| 2 |  Just behind Elia, enter the barn through a small opening on the south side and defeat Silvo. |
| 3 | After dealing with Silvo, return to Elia to complete the objective. |
Consult with Ivette and Remi
Head west to the Fior mes Iverno Docks and talk to Ivette and Remi. The objective will be complete afterward.
Consult with Monto
Return to Fior mes Iverno and visit the Animancy Workshop on the western side of the city. Speak to Monto and you will be tasked with retrieving an Adragan Heart from The Delemgan Glade.
Retrieve an Adragan Heart

| 1 |  From Fior mes Iverno, head west and cross the bridge through The Wildwoods. Be careful of enemies along the way. You’ll know you’re on the right path when you come across a rock arch leading into The Delemgan Glade. |
| 2 |  Once you're in The Delemgan Glade, continue west while dealing with Delemgans and Xaurips. You’ll eventually reach a broken bridge overgrown with large vines. Be sure to loot any chests or treasures along the way for valuable items. |
| 3 |  Traverse the bridge and follow the path ahead until you see a large ruined structure. Be cautious, as you'll encounter more enemies on your way. |
| 4 |  Head inside and speak with the Delemgan Queen. You will either speak with her peacefully or trigger a battle depending on how you enter the area she is in. You can take the Adragan Heart from the Delemgan Queen without fighting her by not being engaged in combat with enemies before you enter her base. She will have a civil discussion with the player where she will gladly give the Adragan Heart to you without being hostile. |
| * |  If you enter the area while engaged in combat, you must defeat the Delemgan Queen in a boss fight. Make sure to stock up on heals/consumables and get settled with a good loadout before this step. It’s best to eliminate the weaker enemies first to minimize distractions before focusing on the boss. ▶︎ How to Beat Delemgan Queen |

Place the Heart in the Animancy Device
Return to the Animancy Workshop and place the Adragan Heart in the Animancy Device. Talk to Moto afterward to complete the objective.
Check in with Giatta

| 1 | With all three objectives done, report back to Giatta and she'll give you Giatta's Basement Key. |
| 2 |  Head to the basement on the right side of Giatta’s house and use the key to enter the Castell Family Lab. Retrieve the Phantasmal Focus at the end of the lab. |

Giatta will join you as a companion upon completing the quest. Additionally, you will obtain various common weapons and items, along with XP as you progress through the quest.
