Kai can train with you and increase your Might or Constitution in Avowed. Check out this guide for how to unlock training with Kai, the attributes you can increase by training with him, and the dialogue options you can select when training with Kai.

To unlock training with Kai, you only need to talk to him a couple of times at camp. You may need to progress the story a bit to have enough to talk about, but once training is available, Kai will inform you.
Once you unlock Kai’s training, you can train with him by picking the dialogue option “You mentioned training together.” You will then be given options on what you want to learn from him.

| You put a lot of power into your attacks. I want to learn how to hit harder with mine. | +2 Might |

Kai can reward you with either Might, Constitution, or both depending on which dialogue option you choose. You can only increase your stats once for each companion’s training, so choose wisely!
