The best bows in Avowed are the Ancient Alacrity and the Storm-Sworn because they offer great utility as ranged weapons. The Storm-Sworn is good for AoE and mob-clearing with its Shock Accumulation buff, especially since the mid-to-late areas of the game have a lot of dungeons with enemies grouping around puddles of water. While acquired quite in the late-game, the Ancient Alacrity is great for range-centric players, since it slows enemies down.

Great wave-clearing weapon that can deal massive damage to groups of enemies. However, it does lose out slightly due to Shock damage since your own Shock procs can also damage you. |

One-shot potential weapon due to its Critical Hit Chance and 5% Damage to enemies with Full HP. Solid weapon but falls off in Late Game as it will normally be used to open fights on enemies. |

How to Get: Purchase The Long Touch from the Paradisan Military Surplus shop in northern Paradis. Before you explore the eastern half of Dawnshore, you'll be able to purchase The Long Touch and use it for most of the game until you can get your hands on a higher-tier Bow. |

How to Get: Obtained behind a locked gate in Leviathan's Hollow at Shatterscarp. Storm-Sworn is an optional, more AoE-oriented Bow that you can get from Shatterscarp. This is slightly more useful in Late Game as you will be fighting more enemies, and puts it a step up above The Long Touch for when you make it to Shatterscarp. |

How to Get: Can be acquired behind a locked door in Galawain's Tusk after fighting Sibelius. In terms of Bows, this is your best option when you can acquire it as it will be able to kite out any and most opponents, giving it an edge against other Bows due to the sheer utility and safety nets it provides in combat. |
