This entire objective is optional since you can head directly to Slumbering Fields to start the quest, as explained in the next objective.

# Step-by-step Walkthrough
1
You can start the quest by interacting with the Help Wanted - Repair the Godless Aqueducts note on the bulletin board near the exit of Solace Keep.
2
Head to the Fountains on the upper level of Solace Keep and speak to Chief Engineer Gabral. He will ask you to find the missing expedition team near the aqueducts.
3
Travel to a small camp southwest of the Southern Warden Tower and interact with Raluka’s Expedition Journal on the table. This will reveal that the expedition team is in Slumbering Fields.

Head to Slumbering Fields

Avowed - Weeping Willow

To start the quest, make your way to Slumbering Fields, located in the southwest part of Galawain's Tusks. Upon entering, you will encounter Weeping Willow, a Delemgan who has trapped Raluka and her expedition team. You can either help her in investigating the ruins or choose to kill her and free the expedition team.

For now, we recommend helping the Delemgan, as you will have another opportunity later in the quest to decide her fate.

Investigate the Presence Inside the Ruins

# Step-by-step Walkthrough
1
Follow the path on the right, using the archways as a guide, until you reach the ruins. Be ready to fight enemies along the way!
2
Once near the ruins, jump up the ledges across the poisoned waterfalls to reach the entrance of the Ekidan Workshop (the ruins).
3
Jump down into the ruins and interact with the Damaged Maegfole on the shrine. Regardless of your dialogue choices, you will ultimately end up striking the maegfole.
4
Below where you jumped down, burn the brambles blocking the path to exit the ruins. You'll notice the water is no longer poisoned.
*
Before leaving the ruins, destroy the breakable wooden barrier next to the brambles and loot the chest containing Magic Mistol, a Superb-Quality Unique Pistol.

Return to the Delemgan

Avowed - Return to the Delemgan

If you agreed to help the Delemgan at the start of the quest, return to her near the Slumbering Fields Beacon. If you already killed her earlier, skip to the next objective.

Choices
Compromise with Raluka Kill the Delemgan

If you choose to question the Delemgan's proposition, talk to Raluka and you can decide whether to compromise a deal or kill the Delemgan. Otherwise, skip to the next objective.

Should You Kill the Delemgan?

Compromise with Raluka

Avowed - Report Back to Raluka

At the end of your conversation with Raluka, when she asks you to kill the Delemgan, choose “No. You'll have to get your water without disturbing the Delemgan.” Raluka will reluctantly agree to make do with the fresh water.

Kill the Delemgan

Avowed - Kill the Delemgan

If you choose “Very well. I'll kill her if it helps the Pargrunen,” defeat the Delemgan, allowing the Pargrunen to take control of the sanctuary.

Unblock the Aqueduct

# Step-by-step Walkthrough
1
Regardless of your decision, take the path on the left and burn the brambles blocking your way.
2
Jump down into the river, swim to the other side, and climb up the ledges.
3
Once you've climbed up, follow the path on the left and continue uphill until you reach the aqueduct. Prepare to fight enemies along the way!
4
Burn the vines blocking the aqueduct above. You can throw a Magran's Fury at it to do so.

Report Back to Raluka

Avowed - Compromise with Raluka

With the aqueduct now flowing with fresh water, return to Raluka to complete the quest.

There's also a perception check of 12 which will also allow the Paragrunen to stay without killing the Delegman.

You can convince Weeping Willow to allow Pargrunen access to the sanctuary for water. You must be a Vanguard Scout though. Everyone is happy. After clearing the water and returning pick these choices: - "Wait, what about the aqueduct? They came here for water." - "Hold on. You don't want the Pargrunen gathering water?" -"Invasive species? Their lives are as worthy as any other." -[Vanguard Scout] "And a thrush that devours fruit sushi scatters seeds". **Weeping Willow allows access.
