Avowed - Do Enemies Respawn

Enemies do not respawn in Avowed unless they are related to a Quest. Read on to learn if enemies respawn in Avowed.

Do Enemies Respawn?

Most Enemies Do Not Respawn

Compass

Most enemies found throughout the different regions do not respawn after they've been killed. Only lootable corpses, marked by X's on your compass, will remain where enemies once stood.

Some Quest-Related Enemies Respawn

Naku Kubel Entrance

In the quest Shadows of the Past, players who chose to Sever the Adra may re-enter Naku Kubel again, where they'll find enemies that respawn endlessly.

Enemies Respawn if the Player Dies Mid-Combat

Into The Beyond

When a player dies Mid-Combat, all enemies within the area will respawn, and all drops and loot obtained before dying will be lost and reset.

It might have been one off, the highwaymen and spiders did respawn for me south of the militia barracks. It would be better though if they respawn after you leave the area or sleep for 3 days.
