List of All Attributes

Avowed has 6 main attributes, namely: Might, Constitution, Dexterity, Perception, Intellect, and Resolve. Each attribute corresponds to 2 stats that scale in proportion to its rank.

Attribute Stats and Description
Might Might allows the character to deal more damage and be able to carry more equipment before becoming encumbered.
+% Damage
+% Carry Capacity
Constitution Constitution allows the character to survive longer in battles, and reduces the chances of being inflicted with poison and bleed.
+% Maximum Health
+% Poison and Bleed Resistance
Dexterity Dexterity increases the attack speed of affects both weapon and abilities, and action speed hastens equips, consumables use, parkour, and reload speed.

Perception Perception increases the chance to trigger critical hits, and raises max range for wands, guns, and bows to be more effective at longer distances.

Intellect Intellect raises maximum essence and increases resistance to the Ignited, Shocked, and Frozen statuses.

Resolve Resolve increases maximum stamina and increases the amount of health recovered when Second Wind is triggered.

List of All Stats

There are 12 stats affected when raising attributes. These stats define a character's combat capabilities, affecting their damage, resources, and survivability in battle.

Damage Affects damage dealt
Carry Capacity Maximum amount of weight carried
Maximum Health Total amount of health
Poison and Bleed Resistance Resistance to Poison and Bleed statuses
Attack Speed Affects weapon and ability speed
Action Speed Affects equip, consumable, parkour, and reload speed
Critical Hit Chance Chance to deal critical hits
Maximum Range Affects weapon range and ranged weapon falloff
Maximum Essence Total amount of Essence
Elemental Resistance Resistance to Ignited, Frozen, and Shocked statuses
Maximum Stamina Total amount of stamina
Second Wind Efficiency Amount of health restored when Second Wind is triggered

Each point that goes into an attribute increases its related stats. During Character Creation, players can allocate up to 3 points maximum in each attribute.

Fighter Might Constitution Resolve
Ranger Might Dexterity Perception
Wizard Might Perception Intellect

Fighters engage in melee combat, needing both damage and survivability in their stats. Constitution allows them to survive longer, and resolve increases their stamina to continue swinging their weapons in battle.

Rangers use multiple tools in their arsenal, requiring dexterity to switch between melee and ranged combat efficiently. Perception allow rangers to eliminate from afar, or end combat quickly via critical hits.

Wizards rely on spells and specialize in ranged combat, where both range and essence is vital for their performance. Intellect allow wizards to cast more abilities, and perception allows them to distance themselves from their enemy.

How to Increase Attributes

Level Up or Use Equipment

Select equipment can increase an attribute simply by equipping them. Consider these equipment when looking to tune your builds or to avoid overcapping on attribute points.

Attribute Bonuses End at Rank 15

Bonuses gained from raising attributes end once it reaches +15. Players are encouraged to spread their stats instead of focusing on one or two to avoid capping early.

Backgrounds Affect your Starting Attributes

The background chosen during character creation determines the initial spread of attribute points. Attribute points will be allocated depending on the background selected, corresponding to its in-game history and prior experience.
