How to Get Unflinching Duty
Pick Up from the Cave at Strangleroot
Head to the cave at The Strangleroot in Dawnshore and loot Unflinching Duty from the corpse in the middle, where you fought the Afflicted Bear during the main quest, Message from Afar.

| Description | |
| One of the greatest honors an Aedyran soldier can receive is to be given this shield, said to have been wilded by one of the original spearmen of the Thorned Wall phalanx. When a soldier willingly goes into a dangerous, unknown situation with slim chances of survival and comes back to tell the tale, this is their reward. Despite its age, the quality of this shield's craftsmanship is apparent, and on more than one occasion has it turned aside what would have been a mortal strike, seemingly of its own accord. | |
