What are Primordials?

Delemgans and Sporelings

Delemgans
Sporelings

Primordials are intelligent beings who thrive in the forests of The Living Lands. Delemgans and Sporelings both fall under the enemy category of Primordials.

Delemgans are humanoid beings made of plants and wood. You encounter them multiple times in Emerald Stair, especially when confronting the Delemgan Queen at the Delemgan Glade in Animancy Method.

Sporelings, on the other hand, are sentient mushroom-like creatures that you first encounter within the Delemglan Glade and Grim Wetlands of Emerald Stair.

Determined via Damage Calculations Using the Primordial Slaying Enchantment

To determine which enemies in the game are Primordials, the team used an Exceptional Emerald Splitter (+0) that grants +20% damage against Vessels via its Primordial Slaying enchantment. Damage numbers using normal attacks against Tier 3 enemies were as follows:

Enemy Type Damage (Normal Attack)
Xaurip 336 DMG
Skeletons 336 DMG
Beast (Bear) 336 DMG
Sporelings 403 DMG
Delemgans 403 DMG
%Bonus DMG Calculation
((403 - 336) / 336) x 100 = 19.94%
((403 - Base DMG) / Base DMG) x 100 = %DMG Bonus
