Each Pal can have up to 4 random Passive Skills, and these will only be revealed by catching them.
To get your hands on a “perfect” Pal, You need to catch multiple copies of it.
Offspring Pals also have a chance of inheriting the Passive Skills their Parents have through Breeding.
Do note that inheriting Passive Skills is random, and can also be a time-consuming process.

I was wondering if this affects a player while controlling a mount. For sake of argument, do you more easily damage a stone with Rushoar when this is in their passive skills versus not? From tests I did, the only thing that affects faster mining is higher attack on the pal due to higher level or other passives.
