Free the Captives is immediately unlocked after you speak to Guard Parker during the events of Khazra Aggression.

| 1 |  With Lieutenant Ralvar in tow, start making your way to the Razed Village. Reach the collapsed well within the village to begin. |
| 2 |  A guard will be trapped inside the well. Clear the Debris to free them. |
| 3 |  Speak to Guard Krynn as he emerges. He will tell you where the other guards were taken to by the Khazra. Note: Once the conversation ends, you will be placed inside a solo Story Dungeon. |
| 4 |  Follow Ralvar to the center of the village. Defeat the 5 Khazra guarding the captured guard. |
| 5 |  Free Guard Weir from his bonds. |
| 6 |  Once Weir is free, the summoning circle will activate. Defeat the hordes of Khazra that are summoned in order to clear the ritual site. |
| 7 |  After the Khazra are dealt with, approach the center of the ritual and destroy it. |
| 8 |  Speak to Lieutenant Ralvar and discuss the dark magic used by the Khazra. This triggers the next main quest, Devious Magic. |
Enemy mobs will be very dense inside the Razed Village, especially after you free Guard Weir during the Khazra ritual. Make sure to group enemies up using Gather Skills before unleashing your class's AoE attacks for faster and more efficient clears.
