Among the Bodies is automatically unlocked after you exit the solo Story Dungeon version of Port Justinian. This occurs at the end of the previous quest, Blazing Raid.

| 1 |  Your first objective is to find Cadeus. Head over to the outskirts of the Infested Quagmire to find him. |
| 2 |  Speak to Cadeus about the cursed village. He will explain what happened and ask you to follow him into the quagmire. |
| 3 |  Follow Cadeus into the swamp and Investigate the Corpse he points out to you. Defeat the 6 Maggots that pop out to continue the quest. Rewards: ・16,082 EXP |
| 4 |  Talk to Caedus again. He will tell you to Follow the Corpses in the River to discover the cause of the village's blight. |
| 5 |  Defeat the Maggot Brood boss that spawns in the waypoint to continue the quest. Boss Drops: ・Venomguards (Hands) x1 |
| 6 |  With the Maggot Brood defeated, make your way to the Abadoned Village Waypoint. Caedus will be waiting for you at the Abandoned Village's entrance where you need to speak to him. |
| 7 |  Follow the path to the Elder's Home inside the Abandoned Village. Once you are near enough, Elder Owens will rise up from the ground and go to the village center. Rewards: ・Refugee's Boots (Feet) x1 |
| 8 |  After Elder Owens stops moving, speak to him. Once the conversation ends, he will turn hostile. Defeat him to get the first Nephalem Beacon to drop. Boss Drops: ・Token of Friendship (Legs) x1 |
| 9 |  Pick up the Nephalem Beacon before talking to Caedus. Once the conversation ends, the next main quest, Heart of the Jungle, will unlock. Rewards: ・42,886 EXP |
