Tips and Strategies

Keep Your Distance

Many of Shaddox's attacks are done at a distance, and are relatively difficult to dodge once Shaddox gets in the process of executing them. It is best to keep some distance between the two of you, which allows for quick getaways when needed.

Attack During Wind-ups

Shaddox's attacks, though powerful, also have long wind-ups to them. Combine this with how Shaddox tends to only attack going towards one direction, it is easy to stay away from the path of his upcoming attacks and hit him from the sides or the back relatively risk-free.

This tactic is particularly useful during the second phase of your battle where Shaddox frequently performs a charge attack in a single line – get to his flanks and hammer away at his HP.

Dodge His Jumps During the Second Phase

One of Shaddox's frequent attacks is where he jumps high in the air before slamming back down towards the ground.

During the second phase of the fight, this attack becomes faster with a higher damage against you – it is important to dodge this attack as much as possible due to its high damage and high area of effect, which can be enough to drain your HP significantly.
