How to Unlock Reforging the Soul

The Eternal Guardian - Attune the Portal Device

To unlock Reforging the Soul, players will need to defeat the Eternal Guardian and collect its remains during the Eternal Guardian main quest. Exit the solo Story Dungeon to immediately unlock Reforging the Soul.

Reforging the Soul Quest Walkthrough

	Objective
1	After exiting the lair of the Eternal Guardian, you will be teleported near the Chaos Engine. Place the Eternal Guardian's remains inside the engine to begin the quest.
2	Once the remains are interred, Activate the first Orb to the left of the Chaos Engine to begin the reforging process. This will spawn in 20 Burning Dead which you will have to defeat in order to defend the Orb.
3	With the first Orb defended, head over to the right side of the Chaos Engine and Activate the second Orb. This will trigger a timed defense where you have to repel Burning Dead for 45 seconds. Warning: At some point during the 45 second window, a mini-boss called Vulkrek the Chaos Smith will spawn in. While it isn't necessary to defeat it, do note that it does drop random gold and items if beaten.
4	With both Orbs defended, the reforging process should have completed. Return to the mouth of the Chaos Engine and collect the Spark of Life from inside. Picking up the quest item immediately triggers the Recalling the Past main quest.
