| Description | |
| This well-made but simple looking pistol belies a potent enchantment that can significantly turn the tides of battle in the wielder's favor. It earned its name when the original wielder, an arrogant Goldpact Knight, was ambushed by outlaws on the road. Surrounded and outnumbered she calmly unbuckled a grenade from her belt and offered her assailants a bargain: Either they play fairly and attack her one at a time or she pulls the pin of the grenade and everybody dies. Even the brigands knew that to doubt the word of a Goldpact Knight is folly, and so agreed to her deal. One by one, the outlaws attacked her, and one by one they fell. The paladin's wounds were grievous, but through a combination of grit and the magical assistance provided by the weapon, she won the contest and lived to fight another day. | |
