How to Get One Last Trick
Complete the Side Quest: Steel Resolve
Steel Resolve can be unlocked in the Emerald Stair region by completing the Side Quest: Steel Resolve.
You can start Steel Resolve by talking to Ranger Captain Acierno in Ranger Headquarters or it can be unlocked by freeing Ranger Verano during The Trantons bounty.
Do Steel Resolve Before Progressing Through the Main Quest
One Last Trick is a missable unique weapon in the Emerald Stair region. If you progress through the main quest: The Animancy Method. The Steel Resolve quest would be marked failed, and you will miss out on acquiring One Last Trick.

Trick Shot for the Extra Bullet Bounce

Trick Shot is the better choice, offering greater damage against multiple opponents, especially with critical hits. The shot now bounces twice instead of just once, allowing you to mow down groups of enemies by chaining shots together. This is especially useful since you often face multiple foes.
In comparison, Incendiary Charge deals less damage overall, as it only bounces once. Additionally, its Fire Accumulation isn’t as powerful as the extra bouncing shot.
