Bristling Frost Effects Per Rank

(Lv. 5)		 The caster is surrounded by a protective frost that increases Damage Reduction by 25% and deals Frost Accumulation to enemy melee attackers.
Rank 2
(Lv. 8)		 Incoming melee damage creates an area of effect that deals Frost Accumulation to nearby enemies.
Rank 3
(Lv. 10)		 Reduces the cooldown of Bristling Frost by 5 seconds and increases Damage Reduction to 15%.

The higher ranks of Bristling Frost increase the power and efficacy but will remain locked until you reach the required level to unlock it.

Get a Grimoire to Cast it without it Unlocked

Get a Grimoire with the Bristling Frost ability to cast it even if it's not yet unlocked from the Wizard Ability Tree. However, you will still need to unlock the required Grimoire Mastery Rank (if there's any) to cast the ability.

Also, if you unlock this ability and have a Grimoire, it will become stronger when cast.

How to Unlock Bristling Frost

Reach Level 5 to Unlock

Level Up
You must reach Level 5 to unlock the base rank of Bristling Frost in the Wizard Ability Tree. You can then spend Ability Points to activate and upgrade it once you reach the level requirement.
