Gather HD Ether Cylinders+ from Ether Spheres

After unlocking Ino as a Hero in Wave 2 of the DLC Expansion Pass, you also gain the ability to collect HD Ether Cylinders+ around the map. Find the location of Ether Spheres on your map.

Inoswap allows you to enhance the Arts and skills of Ino. Unlike other Heroes, she does not start off with already boosted Art and skill effects. Instead, you'll need to upgrade them with her Inoswap ability. Similar to upgrading your Ouroboros forms.

Once you have gathered enough HD Ether Cylinders+, you can select any of the upgrades in the list to gain its effects. However, some of the upgrades will remain remain locked until you fulfill a certain unlock condition.

Best Upgrades for Ino

There are overall three types of upgrades that are available in Inoswap. Enhance Art increases the power and decreases the recharge requirement of Arts, Enhance Skill boosts the effects of your skills, and Learn Skill increases one of Ino's stats.

Enhance Arts

When enhancing Arts with Inoswap, it is recommended to pick the best Arts available for the character since these will be the Arts that you will equip onto them. Any Art that you do not plan to use with the character can be enhanced after all other upgrades are complete.

Art Attack Type AoE Base Effect
Starry BeatStarry Beat Physical Attack One Target None
Photon StormPhoton Storm Physical Attack One Target Evades attacks. Also boosts aggro generated when using Art by 50% at the cost of a low Critical Rate.
Dazzling IllusionDazzling Illusion Stance Self Boosts evasion by 20% and boosts aggro drawn when attacking by 25%.

Enhance Skills

Ino only has a total of four skills available to her. Among these skills, two are particularly important to her playstyle, so it is best to prioritize upgrading these skills compared to others.

Skill Base Effect
Nanomachine RepairNanomachine Repair Adds 25% chance to restore HP by 6% when evading.
Velocity GearVelocity Gear All Arts except Talent Art gain 6% recharge when evading.

Learn Skills

Though all the stat buffs granted by these upgrades are beneficial for the character, there two buffs specifically that are best to prioritize since they work well with the playstyle.

Learn Skill Explanation
Agility Up Since the character heavily relies on evading attacks to effectively defend the team, increasing her Agility stat is recommended.
TP Plus By getting both TP Plus upgrades for the character, you can increase her starting TP to 35, which puts her at par with other high TP characters.
