List of Contents
In order to unlock the option to change outfits, you will first need to reach Chapter 3 of the main story. Once there, complete Ethel's Hero Quest, No Want of Courage, to unlock the option to change outfits when the quest ends.
Ethel's Hero Quest: No Want of Courage Walkthrough
To change your outfit, open the game menu using X, and navigate to Characters > Clothing. From there, pick from any of the listed outfits in order to change your look.
Base Clothing refers to the outfit of your character's current class. The rest of the options range from outfits of classes you've mastered to the Chapter 1 military outfits of Noah and Mio's squads.
Do note that you can only change into outfits of classes that your character has mastered. If they have not yet mastered a certain class, the outfit will not appear in the Clothing menu when you open it.
All class outfits are unlocked each time your character levels up a class to Rank 10. Once they max out the class, its corresponding outfit will be available for your current character to change into via the Clothing menu.
Note: The Military Uniform is unlocked by default. It becomes available as soon as the feature to change clothing unlocks!
The Volume 1 Expansion Pass contains re-colors of the outfits worn by Noah and Mio's squads. Purchase the DLC if you want to unlock an alternate look for the 6 base classes: Swordfighter, Zephyr, Medic Gunner, Tactician, Heavy Guard, and Ogre.
