Attackers

Accessory Effect
Wind Leg Frame Boosts damage dealt for the first 30 seconds of battle.
Ice Headband Boosts Critical Rate.
Leather Gloves Boosts Accuracy each time an enemy evades an attack.
Perfect for long fights and against evasive enemies as the accuracy bonus it provides only truly shines during long battles.
Steam Belt Boosts Attack.
Attack Stone Boosts auto-attack damage.
Assault Stone Boosts auto-attack damage. Higher bonuses than Attack Stone.

As attackers, you'll want to increase your damage output be it by increasing your auto-attack damage or total attack stat. We highly recommend only going for auto-attack boosting accessories when using classes that can apply buffs to speed up your auto-attacks or increase your attack rate such as Flash Fencers.

Defenders

Accessory Effect
Soldier's Headband Increases defense
Armored Lining Increases Ether Defense
Heavy Weak Guard Boosts Block Rate. Provides higher bonuses than Light Weak Guard.
Light Weak Guard Boosts Block Rate.
Bronze Temple Guard Boosts max HP.
Gear Support Boosts Agility.
Friendship Badge Boosts Recharge Gauge when a non-defender character is targeted.
Perfect for the Heavy Guard as they rely on cooldowns instead of recharging arts via auto-attacks.
Work Gloves Boosts evasion when an art is active.

There are mostly two types of Defenders, a defensive tank and an evasive tank. Learn which Defender you're using and use Accessories that will synergize with their playstyle such as agility increasing accessories for dodge tanks and increasing block rate for tanks.

Healers

Accessory Effect
Harvest Necklace Boosts the amount of HP healed by healing Arts.
Bunnit Choker Boosts aggro reduction over time by 80%
Circlet of Intellect Boosts Healing by 20%
Bronze Temple Guard Boosts maximum HP.
Armored Lining Boosts Ether Defense.

As healers, you'll want to focus on improving your buff effects and duration, increasing the amount of heals your characters can do, and improving their survivability by increasing their defenses or lowering the amount of aggro they get!

Character Accessory Building Guide

Equip According to Build's Specialty

Keep Your Healers Safe.png

While damage is always the best thing to consider when building a character, there are also other things to consider to make a balanced team. If your character is a defender, you may need to consider slotting some defensive stats such as block rate, HP increasing accessories, and defense stats to make them more durable which will directly improve their performance in that role!

Arts Do More Damage Than Attacks

Take note that arts do more damage percentage than normal attacks. Aside from a higher damage multiplier, they also have bonus effects that can further increase this damage, apply buffs to your character, debuffs to enemies, or be used in part of a combo! Always prioritize accessories that will allow you to deal more damage by via Arts!

Agnus Classes Value Attack Speed

While most damage does come from arts, Agnus classes like the Zephy and Ogre recharge their arts faster depending on the number of times they hit enemies with normal attacks. Take this into consideration when equipping accessories as increasing your character's attack rate may prove helpful in increasing your DPS!

Better accessories: silver ring (increases chain gauge after landing a critical attack). There’s also one that increase chain gauge after using an art. Chain attacks > arts > auto attacks. There’s also accessories that increase ouroboros link gauge fill rate, which is great for anyone.
