Change the weather and make it rain in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 by talking to Splishsplash or Pitapita. Read on to find out how to unlock the two rain-making Nopon and their locations!
Splishsplash and Pitapata are the two rain-making Nopon in the game. Splishsplash is found in the Aetia Region while Pitapata is located in the Cadensia Region. However, they will not spawn until you begin their respective quests.
Once you unlock either Nopon, you'll need to pay them 10,000 G to make them call for rain. After unlocking them, Splishsplash can make it rain at any time, but Pitapata can only make it rain during the quest.

Splishspash will not appear until you begin Reasons to Evolve, the Ascension Quest of Zeon. Once you reach the portion of the quest when you need to wait for rain to make the spuds grow, a ? will appear above Splishsplash's location on your map.
After completing the quest, Splishsplash will remain at this spot, and you will be able to return to them at any time.
Like Splishspash, Pitapata will not appear until you begin The Future I Want to Spin, a Standard Quest in Colony Mu. Once you reach the portion of the quest when you need to wait for rain to breed the Armu and Ardun, a ? will appear above Pitapata's location on your map.
After completing the quest, Pitapata will also remain at this spot. However, unlike Splishsplash, she will no longer make it rain once the quest is complete.
