Assigning a Healer to your party can provide everyone with constant heals. Not only can they heal, but they can also provide you with beneficial buffs and also inflict debuffs on their enemies, all from a safe distance.
Make sure to assign healer arts to your party members for them to start healing. Other non-healer classes have Arts that have healing properties, so make sure to properly read the effect of your arts to utilize them effectively!
Arts Guide: List of All Arts and Effects
There are Healer Arts that target certain Areas on the battlefield such as the Medic Gunner's Healing Ring which heals you when you enter its vicinity. Utilize these Arts by positioning yourself in areas so you (and your party members) get healed by these Arts to maximize their effects!
Running away from your enemies and staying out of combat is another method you can use to gain back your health. As long as you're not engaged in a battle, you will slowly regenerate your health - this includes damage taken from battle as well as falling damage, so long that it's not high enough to instantly kill your leader.
Since there are no consumable items in the game, the only way you can heal yourself is to rely on Healing Arts provided by your Healers. Prioritize keeping your healers safe by having a tank to get aggro in your party and positioning them to safety.
