This objective will require you to traverse downwards the Origin Interior, and you will face normal enemies and unique monsters along the way. To avoid being swarmed, it's best to beat enemies you can take until you reach the point of battling Z. |
Swordfighter Rank Cap Increased to 20
Just as you're about to get the last material for The Ultimate Vessel quest, the Side Story for Noah will trigger. Completing this quest will increase Noah's Swordfighter Class rank cap as well as progress both the Standard Quest and Main Quest.

Move Faster with Bravery
After clearing the Standard Quest The Ultimate Vessel, you can toggle its speed boost by pushing the L stick, making it much easier to roam the seas.
Use the Bravery as a Rest Point
Upon arriving at Origin, you can turn around to the Bravery and unlock it as a Rest Point. Make sure you're well prepared, as you'll run into a lot of powerful enemies inside!
You can also find other Rest Points along the way, but they are hidden behind doors. Be sure to check each room, especially if you need to take a break or add checkpoints that you can use for Skip Travel.
N Boss Fight
Along the way, you will come across N, who you will have to fight. Equip three Zephyrs, three Tacticians, and any Hero with an Attacker role, preferably the Incursor, Alexandria. You can also equip two Attackers, two Defenders, and two Healers.
Focus on landing your hits, Chain Attacks, and Ouroboros Orders. After defeating N in the first round, keep fighting him in the second round until you beat him again.
Moebius Y Fight
Same as the fight with N, focus on your attacks, defenses, and heals with the fight with Moebius Y. Defeating this enemy is the only way to activate the door ahead and make your way to Z.
Z Boss Fight
First Phase
The final boss fight will start with your whole team unable to Interlink or use Chain Attacks. At certain HP thresholds, Z will also place an effect on the entire stage, such as freeze (slowed movement) and burn (damage over time).
During this phase, all you can do is attack and survive using your Arts. Make sure you have enough Defenders and Healers in your team with the right Arts before facing Z.
Keep reducing his HP, and a scene will start where each of the Interlinked pairs will start using Ouroboros Orders one by one. Although the base damage multiplier for each Order is at 1000%, these attacks will barely deal damage to Z as he has a Counter Heal buff active, which heals a portion of the damage taken.
Complete all three Ouroboros Orders, and Z will become vulnerable. Unleash your best attacks and combos to end this phase and move to the next.
Second Phase
Z will switch to his true form, but will still be quite vulnerable. Continue using your attacks and combos as normal until he uses another trick. Finishing this phase will lead you to engage X in battle.
Third Phase
After losing about 15% of his HP, Z will separate the Keves team from the Agnus team and have them fight X, which means you won't be able to use Interlinks.
Z will also unleash an unavoidable attack that can take down your entire team. Don't worry about losing on this part, as the battle will still proceed to the next after the cutscene.
Fourth Phase
On the other half of the separated team, you will engage Y in battle. Nia and Melia will call for the other Heroes (characters you get from Hero Quests) that you have already unlocked. The backup team will be distributed evenly among the two halves of your party to help you defeat Z.
Fifth Phase
With the two heads defeated, the battle will enter its final phase with your whole team back against Z. Deplete his health bar to beat the final boss and complete the game's story!
